Summit Primary Care
Superior Care for the Entire Family:
Infants to Seniors
To provide superior, state of the art family medicine for patients of all ages, infants to seniors, in a friendly, caring, professional environment.
We have an online secure patient portal that allows you to send messages to your Provider and view test results and other chart documents shared by your Provider. If you are an existing patient and have not yet created your portal account, please call our office to provide us with your email address.
Our Board Certified, Family Medicine Providers provide our patients with all of the latest services and technology needed to exceed the Quality Care Initiatives recommended by Federal, State government as well as all the commercial insurance companies. Through the use of our certified electronic health record software, we are able to keep you compliant on your preventative care visits, annual check-ups and testing, chronic medical condition monitoring and medication maintenance. We also work very closely with area specialists, home care and hospice agencies, nursing homes, and hospitals to improve the health and lives of the people in our community. Several of our Providers have particular interests and are available for appointments for general women's health, diabetes care, senior care, COPD, sports and school physicials and all Preventive Health services.
Summit Primary Care is very conveniently located for your medical care needs. We are just a block from Summit Medical Center and close to any type of physician specialist you may need to see, as well as several outpatient imaging centers.
Our entrance has a covered drive-through patient drop-off area to avoid having to walk through any inclement weather, and we feature electronically automated opening front doors. We have wheelchairs available in the lobby for your use to accommodate patients who are unable to walk.
We now also offer free wireless internet access for guests in our building, so bring your netbooks or other wireless devices and browse the World Wide Web while you wait to see your Provider.
Also, unlike many clinics or small practices in the area, for your convenience, we perform most tests on-site, including EKG's, spirometry testing, hearing testing, urine drug testing, and x-rays.
SPC patients requiring hospital in-patient services are generally referred to Summit Medical Center (SMC). On occasion, you may be referred to a downtown hospital by your SPC provider if it is more appropriate for your situation. If you need hospitalization, our Hospitalist Partners will care for you while you are in the hospital and then coordinate your transition back to outpatient care with us after your discharge from the hospital.
Most SPC Providers maintain appointment hours M-F from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call for specifics for your PCP.
We also offer walk-in hours for all of your unplanned visits. You may walk in anytime from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. New patients and self-pay patients tell us they prefer our walk-in availability to the doc-in-the-boxes in the pharmacies & grocery stores because we are much more full service, our prices are comparable or better, and they get rapid access to our Providers as needed.
Operators are available to take appointment and other calls from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please call during these hours to schedule an appointment. You cannot do it through the on-call doctor or by voicemail. This is because the information we need to schedule the proper amount of time for you with your Provider requires a question and answer session with our staff.
All incoming calls to Summit Primary Care are first processed by a telephone auto-attendant, which allows you to get to many departments directly. After hours, your emergency calls can be directed to the on-call physician's voicemail, which will automatically page the on-call doctor after you leave your message. The doctor will call you back for any medical emergency to discuss the situation with you.
